From ES1 to Stage 3, Coding and Robotics can be used to engage students in Mathematics through a problem-solving approach. Participants will explore a variety of stage appropriate robotic activities with option for Bee Bot, Scratch, Ollie Robot and Sphero Robotic Ball [multiple Sphero robots at Corrimal PS only].

This afternoon session is designed for teachers of K-6 Mathematics as an introduction to using coding and robotics in the mathematics classroom.

In this K-6 hands-on workshop teachers will identify how coding and robotics can enable their students to meet outcomes in the NSW K-6 Mathematics Syllabus, Create coding and robotics activities which enable their students to demonstrate meeting the outcomes through a problem-solving approach. And Use simple coding to solve problems.
